Claws is a playfully-sounding duet about the time after a separation – and a refreshing take on break-up songs. It's part of Neal Carlson's final album, and he's no newcomer – this New Yorker opened for Kiss & boasts a 30-year music career, which he's ending with a final album Claws will be a part of. It was a ride, and a great one - and we're super proud to have been a part of it.
We love Claws, as this Elliot Smith-influenced singer-songwriter tune brings heartfelt lyrics, rich vocal layers, lovely harmonies, and a captivating vocal blend that's simply effortlessly relatable. Or? You tell us ;-)
