Did you notice how quickly time passes? And how did you notice that? One of the time-counting elements for many is flowers as simple as dandelions. Always here, until they aren’t - and you know it’s getting colder, then. Out lives feel similar in a way.
With Dandelions, we went for minimalistic poetry in song form, depicting the time passing. The swift getting old of a dandelion is a parallel to aging & the way time and memories fly by us to be lost.
Dandelions also underlines the lack of respect and admiration for an older kind of beauty. People trying to look younger in this world of instant prettiness lead to a feeling of loneliness.
