Placebo’s Sleeping With Ghosts is so dear to me, both the album and the song. As a teen, I had this particular song set as my ringtone for many years. You can guess from that how much Placebo has been, and still is, a huge influence and inspiration for me. That’s why I was wary of covering a Placebo song – I always wanted to, but I was afraid I wouldn’t do it justice and would merely mimic something already incredible. I finally dared, and I believe I gave Sleeping With Ghosts my own &Tilly-ish, synthy twist.
The footage for the video was shot in Nashville as well as New York, and to that, we added the haunting touch of a #noface Tilly, alternating with the "normal" one.
