As fervent fans of Christmas, we're beyond thrilled to present our take on this classic, public-domain Christmas song from 1857, We Three Kings. We played with traditional elements like a balalaika, trombone, and cello, and went for free tempo to make it flow naturally. Blended with dream folk-y vocal layers, our We Three Kings is easy to connect as it is familiar, but at the same time, unique and different from the usual Christmas template 🤫
Her is the third song from the upcoming intimate, acoustic-oriented album PARACHUTES. It is a poetry of hurting, enduring, and of letting go. A very intimate, vulnerabble one, Her is fragile – and we kept Her minimal because of that, however rich in meanings and textures.
We actually started working on this one on a Saturday, and finished, sending it to release, on a Wednesday. Yes, we were that excited 😄
